You have questions, we have answers

How individualized is the program?

Our program is based on providing comprehensive care, and our staff are regularly trained to provide culturally sensitive and informed treatment to care for each person. We establish treatment plan goals and objectives while working collaboratively with clients and families to meet their specific needs.

Each client meets individually with their therapist, dietitian, and medical and psychiatric provider. Through tailored  treatment planning, ongoing care and assessments, as well as thoughtful discharge planning, our care is delivered based on individualized needs.

How do you work with vegetarians, individual food preferences, and other food issues?

We are sensitive to cultural and ethical dietary lifestyles and provide flexibility in our menus. We offer vegetarian choices and take into account any medically tested and diagnosed food allergies or other nutritional needs. We are careful to help each client understand the differences between food preferences and potentially eating disorder-driven choices.

Can I visit my loved one in treatment? How can I best support them?

Eating disorders thrive in isolation. Showing support for someone you care about in treatment can make a world of difference. Our client-centered care values healthy relationships with spouses, partners, family members, and friends. We hope that loved ones engage in weekly family/loved one support therapy. We offer visitation weekly and hope family members can participate. Additionally, we have a growing list of resources for families and caregivers both while your loved one is in treatment and as alumni.
