of clients described their overall program experience as Good to Excellent.
The vast majority of our clients demonstrate significant changes in symptoms and behaviors from admission to discharge and maintain those improvements. We are the first treatment provider to show lasting improvement 6+ months after treatment, and our research shows that 81% of clients experience continued reduced ED symptoms after treatment.
We are also the first to provide evidence-based trauma treatment (CPT) concurrently with eating disorder treatment in higher levels of care, which has resulted in 81% of clients with PTSD at admissions experiencing reductions in both PTSD and eating disorder symptoms at discharge.

FAQs about adolescent eating disorder day treatment
The length of your program is based on several factors, including your specific recovery needs, the severity of the eating disorder, your personalized treatment progress, and the program’s structure at the location you attend.
For some individuals, treatment might be shorter in duration, while others could extend to several months, depending on your progress and treatment goals.
IOP (Intensive Outpatient Program) and PHP (Partial Hospitalization Program) are both structured mental health treatment programs that offer more intensive care than regular outpatient therapy but differ in intensity and time commitment.
IOP typically involves 3-5 days of programming for around 3-4 hours per day while working with your outpatient providers. This allows clients to maintain their daily routines such as work or school. It focuses on providing support and strategies for managing symptoms while clients live at home.
PHP is more intensive, running from 5-6 days per week for 6 or more hours per day. It provides a higher level of care, but clients return home at the end of the day. PHP is designed for individuals who need significant support but do not require 24-hour supervision.
For Monte Nido programs, the number of days and times may differ slightly by location. For more information reach out to admissions here.
Our adolescent day (PHP and IOP) programs re ideal for teens who are medically stable but who require the structure and support of day treatment. Parents will take on a more active role at this level of care. Family-Based Informed Treatment, used within our adolescent programming, is designed to give parents of adolescent clients a leading role in helping their child reduce disordered eating behaviors, restore weight, and resume proper adolescent development. Our team will support the whole family through family programming, therapy, and resources so you will have the tools to support and sustain your child’s recovery during and after treatment.
