Dr. Erikka Taylor is a double board-certified child, adolescent, and adult psychiatrist with experience treating a wide range of psychiatric conditions, including anxiety disorders, mood disorders, eating disorders, trauma, neurodevelopmental disorders, and psychotic disorders. She is committed to providing compassionate and comprehensive care that integrates supportive therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and psychopharmacology. In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Taylor provides workshops on topics such as eating disorders and body image, school, work, and life balance, stress management, faith and mental health, and mental health within diverse populations. Dr. Taylor recognizes that mental illness affects individuals, families, communities, and systems, and she believes in a collaborative and integrative approach to psychiatric care. She is also a dedicated mental health advocate and has served as President of the North Carolina Council of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, as well as a subject matter advisor for I Live For, a nonprofit organization focused on reducing cultural stigma related to psychiatric conditions among youth of color.
