Tamie Gangloff is the Regional Outreach Manager for the Monte Nido Eating Disorder Center of Philadelphia. Tamie worked as a Primary Therapist at both Monte Nido and Monte Nido Vista prior to joining the Philadelphia team. She specializes in eating disorders, addiction, mood disorders and trauma. She earned her bachelor’s degree from West Chester University and her graduate degree from Antioch University Santa Barbara. Tamie has had various articles published including “We Don’t Do That Here: Advocating for Improved Treatment of Co-Occurring Disorder” and “Should Eating Disorder Professionals Eat with their Clients?”
Tamie is a board member for the International Association for Eating Disorder Professionals (IAEDP) Philadelphia Chapter and a West Chester, Pennsylvania National Eating Disorder Association (NEDA) Walk Coordinator.
Tamie enjoys being in relationship with clients and families and being an example of a recovered life including a healthy relationship with food, body image, exercise and interpersonal relationships. It is important to her to instill hope that living a life free of an eating disorder or a substance is possible for everyone.
