Emily Fuentes Dumas, MA, LMFT, CEDS is the Clinical Director at Monte Nido Eating Disorder Center of Philadelphia. Ms. Dumas earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology from St. Joseph’s University and her master’s degree in clinical counseling psychology from LaSalle University. She is a licensed marriage and family therapist as well as an American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy board approved supervisor.
Ms. Dumas is a certified eating disorder specialist, and has dedicated the majority of her career to working with those impacted by eating disorders and worked in various levels of care and treatment settings. Ms. Dumas uses a relational perspective where her clinical focus revolves around strengthening a client’s relationships with self, romantic partners, friends, family and others. Utilizing a direct, collaborative and integrative approach to therapy, she works to help her clients find a healthy balance in their lives and uncover a sense of their authentic selves.
