Before joining Monte Nido, Mr. Kim worked in multiple treatment centers and hospitals that treated individuals with substance use, mental health concerns and eating disorders. In addition, Mr. Kim served as the Lead Chair of the Sexual Assault Task Force at the Center for Women and Men at the University of Southern California, where he created a primary prevention program to help keep the students of the University of Southern California safe.
Mr. Kim’s approach to mental health includes solution focused therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, identity based therapy and self-leadership coaching. His mission is to provide stability, clarity and exponential growth to overcome and be free of your eating disorder. During his free time, Mr. Kim enjoys cooking, learning, leading seminars and being active through boxing and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
