A Letter from Monte Nido Laurel Hill's Clinical Director

As someone who is recovered herself, I was thrilled to help open the doors for Monte Nido at Laurel Hill where we have created a healing environment for those struggling from the emotional, spiritual and physical effects of an eating disorder. I personally feel great pride and gratitude that my journey has brought me to Monte Nido where we take the time to understand the function of the eating disorder while simultaneously exploring and strengthening all of the unique and valuable parts of the self which so often get forgotten when treatment only looks at behaviors. As Clinical Director of Monte Nido Laurel Hill, I feel honored to help people persevere and navigate through the challenging battle of an eating disorder which with insight, awareness, strength, support and courage I believe is possible to fully recover from.
