Kate Funk, MS, MFT is a recovered clinician who believes activating one’s soul self is essential in healing. Kate believes relationships with others and oneself is a critical pathway to recovery. She hopes to inspire clients to find self- compassion and inspiration so that they can move away from their unhealthy relationship with food and body. Kate has a Master’s Degree in family therapy from Drexel University and an undergraduate degree in Psychology from Philadelphia University. Kate continues to train all over the country in pursuit of growing knowledge in the field of eating disorders. Highlights from Kate’s career include creating and leading an outpatient eating disorder support group in southern NJ as well as serving as research coordinator at the University of the Sciences Research Program. This program has since joined the research program at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.
