Anna graduated with her master’s in social work from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, during which time she gained clinical experience working in an adult inpatient eating disorders unit. Recovered from an eating disorder herself, Anna values an honest, genuine, and non-judgmental relationship with clients and sees the therapeutic benefit of sprinkling humor into her work. She views the most important aspect of treatment as holding the belief that recovery is possible for yourself, and seeks to incorporate this into her work with clients while meeting them where they’re at. Anna works alongside clients to challenge the beliefs that are keeping them stuck, and to unearth the healthy values and strengths hidden within them.
