Accreditation for Continuing Education hours and events
Monte Nido & Affiliates is approved by the American Psychological Association to sponsor continuing education for psychologists. Monte Nido & Affiliates maintains responsibility for this program and its content.
Monte Nido & Affiliates has been approved by NBCC as an Approved Continuing Education Provider, ACEP No. 6782. Programs that do not qualify for NBCC credit are clearly identified. Monte Nido & Affiliates is solely responsible for all aspects of the programs.
Monte Nido & Affiliates is a Continuing Professional Education (CPE) Accredited Provider with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR). CDR Credentialed Practitioners will receive Continuing Professional Education units (CPEUs) for completion of activities / materials.
Monte Nido study groups originated several years ago over monthly, informal lunch hour gatherings for clinical professionals who came to network, learn and collaborate. The community of professionals embraced the opportunity for more education; gathering together and learning from one another. Today we facilitate roughly sixty monthly study groups per year around the country and remain dedicated to providing this platform for professionals to come together and further their education around all aspects of the treatment of eating disorders. Monte Nido is a nationally accredited as a provider of Continuing Education by the American Psychological Association, National Board for Certified Counselors, and the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
